Shay and I are going to go see Spiderman in Louisville. So nerd excited for said event. I have a WHOLE lot I need to relay on here.
Ahem— had an awesome time in NYC. Last movie I saw was Moonrise Kingdom at an AMC up there…. Now off to spiderman. Later tonight I plan Tumblr some little pieces of interests that I’ve recently become obsessed with.

Self-Driving Car of the Day: The state of Nevada — in a move that reinforces its laissez faire approach to, well,everything — has “issued Google the nation’s first license to test self-driving cars on public streets” after conducting safety demonstrations for the DMV on the Vegas Strip.

“They’re designed to avoid distracted driving,” said DMV director Bruce Breslow. “When you’re on the Strip and there’s a huge truck with three scantily clad women on the side, the car only sees a box.”

Google’s license covers three test cars; the technology is expected to be ready for the market in three to five years.

I joined a professional fraternity over the weekend—- in between shows and LONG days on set for the film. I’m now officially initiated in Delta Omicron— so, I guess that makes me Greek. This is the closest thing to Greek I’ll ever be— I never had time or a real drive to join a social sorority. And— this is pretty much the same thing— except we’re all musicians and it is co-Ed… Which actually seems like an incredibly fun time.
And I’m excited. We had to reinstate the whole chapter— so, it’s our group starting from scratch and I’m an officer. Woot.

And I finally get “it”. That missing link of stuff I had no understanding of prior to yesterday. Information I can’t talk about—- but highly confused me prior to actually being involved in something Greek.

Anywhoo— excited to see what fun stuff we’ll end up doing. : )

Lately, I have taken pictures of everything…. And constantly doing so. Like I said—- instagram. I mean—- iPhone pictures aren’t the greatest when it comes to quality—- but think about convenience? I can capture a moment in time almost instantly.

Time is so fragile and fleeting. I guess I’ll hold on to these little moments in my life any way that I can. Be it through tumblr—- or instagram—- or whatever.

And life has been interesting and filled with these “little moments”. Every day has seemed more and more like a great adventure instead of just another rising and setting of the sun. Instead of longing for distant foreign places (something that frequently plagues me), I’m overcome with the feeling that the best time is now. I walk down the street and feel like I’m back in New York—- walk through the woods and im in the alps—- it rains at night and im in Paris.

Instead of longing, I’m living.
